Appropriate maintenance procedures will help to preserve the appearance and will extend the life of a Moduleo floor. The frequency of maintenance will depend on the amount and type of traffic, degree of soiling, the floor colour and type.

Maintaining and protecting your Moduleo luxury vinyl floor properly will help to extend its life.

Here are 5 tips:

1. Keep your floor clean & protect it against scratching

Keeping dirt off the floor is easier and less expensive than removing it. Proper entrance walk-off material is able to remove large amounts of dry soil as well as absorb water or oil-based moisture. Protect your floor against scratching from furniture feet by using wide, free-moving, castors, glides, rollers or pads.

2. Vacuuming regularly

Regular vacuuming is the most important part of a successful maintenance program to remove all grit, debris and other solid particles.

3. Remove a spill quickly

Spills and spots are inevitable, but they don’t have to be permanent. Remove a spill quickly using Moduleo Spot Cleaner and there is less chance of permanent staining.

4. Avoid rubber stains or discolouration

Avoid mats, furniture legs, castors and the like with rubber or latex undersides. These can cause stains. Provide the necessary sun protection so that harmful UV rays do not change the colour of the floor.

5. Routine cleaning

Vacuum to remove all grit, debris and other solid particles. Cleaning is easy, with just an ordinary room, microfibre cloth, vacuum cleaner or damp mop with approved detergents such as our Moduleo Daily Cleaner. Avoid rubber or latex mats as these may leave stains. We do not recommend the use of steam cleaning appliances to clean your floor.
